The CPYFA football program is about development, safety and fun. Our coaches are required to attend coaching clinics hosted by the Cedar Park High School Varsity coaches, tailored specifically to CPYFA. At these clinics the varsity coaches go over drills, plays, vernacular and technique specific to Cedar Park Football.

Our coaches are also required to be certified by the AYF National Youth Football Organization and subject to background checks. All this insures we provide the highest quality football program around for development and competition within the Central Texas Conference.



None of this means anything if the program is not safe or fun and CPYFA makes those the highest priorities. With proper technique, proper gear and coaches training, youth football is a very safe sport. Our minimum play requirements insure that every child will get to play every game keeping the fun factor at a high level. We go to great lengths to make sure every child and family enjoys their experience with CPYFA.
